Chapter Seven
"Nightmare never ending Part One"
Jane Rose was walking with her friends to school. "And then she kisses me on the cheek." Dail said. "Way to go buddy." Dave said. "You should be proud that you found a girl that really likes you back." Samuel said. "That's not funny Samuel." Eclipse said. "Yeah it is." Samuel said. "Are you..making fun of me?" Dail asks. "Oh no im not..." Samuel tryed to say. "And if you are." Dave said putting up his fists. "Ahh!" Samuel screamed. "There will be a punch bag in this group." Dave said. "Look im sorry i wasn't making fun of you Dail it's great that you like the new girl." Samuel said.

Judy spotted a sign on Jane's face. "Is something wrong Jane?" Judy asks. Pamela looks at her cousin. "Huh? Oh it's nothing really..." Jane said. "You seem really dazed matie girl?" Katie said. "Im fine." Jane said. "Okay." Pamela said. They all made it to school. Christefer and his brothers was in their seats. Pamela waved. Christefer waved back. They sat down and Samuel said something stupid. Pamela wacked her hand on his desk really hard barly hurting her hand. "SHUT YOUR MOUTH!" Pamela screamed. Christefer exhaled in a love daze at Pamela.

Later with Shadow and Mephiles at his office. "Well im glad that you desided to come my wife will give you some coffee." Mephiles said. "Oh thank you Clarice." Shadow said. He took the coffee cup. "Um Shadow i know your low on your money and i want to help you you can work imediently if you wish." Mephiles said. "Yes i would like that." Shadow said. "Hmm you seem afully quiet about umm seven years ago." Mephiles said. "You mean the time that Sonic died or something else." Shadow asks. "Um well i mean that your quiet about your wife and i now notice that your not strong like you used to be." Mephiles said.

"I..i lost my power of strenth long ago after April died i couldn't bare seeing myself without her all i had was my two daughters." Shadow said. "I see." Mephiles said. "Dear here are the papers you wanted and im so sorry for your losses Shadow." Clarice said. "It's alright." Shadow said. "So..would you like to start working by taking that down stairs to the storage area?" Mephiles asked. "Okay." Shadow said. Shadow picked up the box of stuff then went downstairs. "Dear i think we should let Shadow umm talk about his loss." Clarice said. "You have a good heart my love but Shadow has his heart to be strong." Mephiles said walking up to her and taking her shoulders. "But he's heart broken he could be crying this very momment." Clarice said.

"He's strong." Mephiles said. In the elevator Shadow looked down with sadness and a work attitude. He got down and put the box down anywhere. "Hi Shadow! Long time no see." A familiar voice said. "Huh?" Shadow wondered and looked to his right. "Charmy man you grown." Shadow said. "Thanks im sixteen now it's sad that Vector fired me." Charmy said. "What got you working here?" Shadow asks. "Well after Vector fired me i was ten at the time and then i saw Mephiles and he offered me a job cause well...he saw in my eyes i was fired." Charmy said. "Wow." Shadow said. "You started today?" Charmy asked.

"Um yes i just started without any appling." Shadow said scratching between his grey and red hair dye. "Cool." Charmy said. "Charmy i told you to work that way,im sorry Shadow." Espio said. "You work here now to?" Shadow asks. "Yes infact i asked Mephiles he told me he needed a worker in the storage area cause apparently Charmy was being to unsafe." Espio said. "Hey im young here i know more things than you do." Charmy said. "Heh last time i saw him is when that fight against the Black Arms." Shadow said. "Yeah that was long ago." Espio said. "That was twenty years ago right?" Charmy asks.

"Um accually that was nineteen years ago." Espio said looking at Shadow. "Then you guys are OLD! No wonder Shadow and the others are grey. Their old!" Charmy said. "Charmy please! Im sorry Shadow he's still a kid." Espio said. "It's ok...do you want me to do something or shall i leave?" Shadow asks. "Umm there are some boxes over there that need moving Charmy stay out the way this time." Espio said. "Awww i want to help." Charmy said. "No leave this to us." Espio said while Shadow picked up a box. "Hmph! Older freaks." Charmy said.

"You got it Shadow?" Espio asked. "Y-yeah i think." Shadow said. Shadow and Espio worked 3 boxes. After the next box from Shadow he dropped it. Glass broke everywhere. "Im-im sorry i didn't mean it." Shadow said. "It's ok Shadow don't worry." Espio said. "Ha ha one of you old people dropped a box." Charmy laughed. "Be lucky that Shadow doesn't have his guns no more." Espio said. "Yeah those things we're loud." Charmy said. "And i still feel the pain from those shots." Shadow said.

"He's also lucky that i don't have my ninja stars anymore. I grew to old to throw them." Espio said. "Yeah i got to old to wack my arm to throw a Chaos Spear." Shadow said. "Oh my gosh! Wow that's sad coming from you Shadow i thought you was tough." Charmy said. "Hey Chill Out! Besides your going to get old to." Shadow said. "No way im going to stay young forever." Charmy said. "You wish. Besides we didn't stay young." Espio said. "We had to grow up sometime." Shadow said. Later they was done and Shadow went back up to Mephiles.

"Oh your back Shadow,i wanted to give you a scuedule that i just made for you." Mephiles said handing him a peice of paper. Shadow reads it. "Im working to nine to five?" Shadow asks. "Espio and Charmy does." Mephiles said. "Am i going to work with them?" Shadow asks. "Oh no they can handle themselves um i got a special job for you i want you to work up here around my office time to time help Clarice out she has alot of work to do." Mephiles said. "Okay." Shadow said. "Um how are your arms?" Mephiles asks. "Fine." Shadow said. "Oh good can you please go with Clarice and take that with her?" Mephiles asks. "Um okay." Shadow said.

"With the students" They was eating lunch. "Mmm I LOVE the taste of Chicken Tenders!" Samuel said. "You'll love anything the lunch lady makes." James said. "To bad the cooking is great." Samuel said. "You haven't touched your food come on it's getting cold." Pamela said. "Im sorry im just not hungry." Jane said. "What's the matter?" Babe asks. "I don't think i should tell you." Jane said. "Please Jane tell us if you feel better." Moonlight asks. "No thank you." Jane said. The school day was over and the tripplets came home. Christefer was still in a love daze. "And then he said put it on my tab." Jason joked.

Johnathan and Jason laughs. "Brother,how come arn't you laughing?" Johnathan asks. "Huh oh im just love dazed right now." Christefer said. "Is it about Pamela again." Johnathan asks. "Man that girl got something on him." Jason said. "It's the way she screamed at Samuel today didn't you not hear her scream?" Christefer asks. "Um no i had a fan girl on my desk." Johnathan said. "I didn't hear anything." Jason said. "Hmm." Christefer hummed. "Hello young masters i have some cookies and milk." The maid said. "Thank you maid." Johnathan said. "Is there anything else i can get you young masters?" The maid asks. "No that's all." Johnathan said.

The maid walked away. "Man you know how to handle the maid." Jason said. "When your a master of your father's house i guess it grows on you." Johnathan said taking a sip of his cool milk. "Hmm yeah a master." Christefer said day dreaming. "You haven't beeing acting yourself after you met Pamela that is." Jason said. "I don't know but i found a change of heart." Christefer said. "Meh your loss." Jason said chomping down on a cookie. "Hmm that Pamela is just to addicting maybe you should practice your tenis." Johnathan said. "How can i practice when Pamela is in my head?" Christefer asks.

"We have ways." Johnathan said. They took Christefer upstairs to study his homework with them and went to read a book in the study. Christefer barly almost thought about Pamela. Later they was sitting down at the dinner table. "Now did you think about her?" Johnathan asks. "Well just barly." Christefer said. "Good you should keep yourself focused sometimes." Johnathan said. "Fine i'll do it." Christefer said. With Pamela and Jane they was eating left over pizza while watching the animal channel. They was watching when a female wants to mate. "Seriously please tell me." Pamela asks. "I can't i told you there's nothing wrong with me." Jane said. "There is something on your mind and im going to take it out of you." Pamela said.

"GET OFF OF ME PAMMY!" Jane screamed. "No!" Pamela yelled. Pamela then tickled Jane. "Ha ha ha ha ahh Pammy STOP!" Jane screamed. "Not until you tell me." Pamela said. "Ha ha ha STOP IT! I MEAN IT!" Jane said. Jane pushed Pamela off her and she feel on the table infront of them. It cut her leg. "Ahh!" Pamela yelped. "Pammy im sorry..." Jane tryed to say. "You'll be sorry after i cut your Leg!" Pamela screamed in rage. Jane went behind the couch,Pamela blasted it,it broke,then Jane went behind the tv,Pamela broke that to. After five broken things Pamela fell on her front crying from the pain. Jane ran to get the first aid kit.

She bandaged her leg. She hugged her cousin then. They layed on the floor resting later. Shadow came home that time. "GIRLS! What happened..." Shadow looked around the desenagrated idems. "What did you do Pamela?" Shadow asked upset. Pamela lifted her head in tears. Shadow then hugged her. "Im sorry honey..don't cry." Shadow said. "I did something stupid." Pamela said. "Is that why your cut on your leg?" Shadow asks. "Yes." Pamela said. "It's my fault uncle Shadow i pushed her off me cause she wanted to know why i was sad and i cut her leg when she landed on the table." Jane said started to cry. "It's ok girls don't worry." Shadow said. "Come here Jane." Shadow said. Jane crawled to Shadow.

He hugged her to. "Don't cry girls good news i did my first day at Mephiles office." Shadow said. "Are you hurt?" Pamela asks. "Pulled musules in my arms but i'll shake them off." Shadow said. "Daddy that's not good." Pamela said. "I can't help it if im old." Shadow said. "Yeah being sixty two is hard." Pamela said. "Yes. Come on let's get you up Pamela." Shadow said lifting the girls on their feet. Pamela hugged her father's waist. Later he took them out for dinner. They then relaxed. Jane rested on Shadow's arm holding his hand,while Pamela was on his lap.

"You girls are my everything." Shadow said. "You said that about May." Pamela said. "Yes she was my everything to but Jane is with us now and i feel like she was my own but i know Sonic would love to see you happy." Shadow said. "Hmm yeah." Jane said. Shadow then took a warm bath relaxing his bones. He then kissed the girls forheads and went to bed. Jane had a nightmare. Pamela woke up and asked her what was wrong. "It was just a bad dream go back to bed Pammy." Jane said. Pamela did so. Jane layed on her pillow sadly.
